sector is passing through the great crises since consecutive three
years in Pakistan especially shortage of irrigation water, which is
the main factor of the crises. On the other side hybrid seeds and
animal breeds are also the main issues for the farmers. The farmers
who lose their suitable local breeds and species are motivated towards
hybrid seeds and animal breeds. The Government policies are supporting
to the multinational companies, thus there is need to create awareness
among the resource less farmers that they can save their local
varieties of seeds and indigenous breeds of animals.

of Jati area and promoting natural agriculture through the use of Neem
Insecticide as an alternative to toxic chemical pesticides. Therefore

AHD
aims to raise awareness, take practical and positive action on the
range of environmental issues as well as working to save the poor
rural women from smoke, lands from degradation and salinity. The
continuous pesticide sprays on the agricultural crops do not only
pollute the crops but the man spraying the pesticide is also badly
affecting himself and along with his family.
Environment pollution is the big problem for Pakistan and increasing
day by day. Air Pollution, Water Pollution and wastages of the
hospitals and industries are increasing pollution into the
environment. In Pakistan there is no systematic approach to handle the
above mentioned issues. In this regard there is need to create
awareness regarding the environmental issues. Thus AHD staff is
working with grass root communities for the tree plantation, safe
drinking water, fuel-efficient stove cooking technology and other
awareness projects among the rural and marginalized communities.
