News Selection of New villages at Jati area
.jpg) Sept 29th a new village in Jati area (Raj Malik) was visited by AHD staff. The village Raj Malik situated in the middle of Jati comprises at least 50 families. Each family has an average household about 12 to 15 members. Their main source of livelihood is agriculture / cultivation. After a detail survey we have come to know that they severe needs of health & hygiene awareness at their household level to come out from the problems of water borne diseases and personal hygiene which direct affects their lives and health. They use canal water for drinking purpose. They don’t know how this water harmful for their lives. They are waiting for the hands that can bring change in their life.
AHD staff visited the area / villages and trained 15 women representatives from different families and installed 1 Nadi filter and trained village women to further install the Nadi filter units at family level.
