Reduction in CO2 through construction of fuel efficient stoves in 5 villages of Jati & Sujawal areas

A project was started in 250 families of 05 villages in Jati area with the support of AusAid Islamabad since July 2009 and about 250 FES stoves are being constructed in rural poor families of Jati Tehsil district Thatta. The targeted women using wood for cooking purposes and for this purpose they have to collect the wood from the outside far and scattered areas. The main purpose of the fuel efficient stove construction is to save the wood 50% and time of women 50% and burden of women 50% as well as they have the extra saving time to use for the children health & house cleanliness. Through the TOT training of fuel efficient in 5 villages the women are very happy and constructed cooking stoves at their family level.
